Our investment focus
Strategic technology.
Commercial discipline.
We back technology with commercial and national-security applications. Strategic importance starts the conversation. Technical evidence and a credible business make the case.
- 01
Sensing & autonomy
Sensing, autonomy and uncrewed systems on land, at sea, in the air and in orbit. We back performance that holds in contested conditions and deploys repeatably.
- 02
Resilient infrastructure
Energy storage, the grid, critical minerals and advanced manufacturing. We back technology that keeps essential systems running under stress.
- 03
Intelligence & security
Chips, AI infrastructure, secure compute, quantum and cybersecurity. We back technology that protects information and keeps critical systems trustworthy.
Where we invest: United States · India · Japan.

Day 14
Investment criteria
What makes a company investable.
A score of 75 or above makes a company eligible. The review then turns on four tests.
- 01
Technical advantage
Evidence that it performs as intended, and a clear account of what is not yet proven.
- 02
Commercial adoption
A named user and buyer, a problem that matters and a route from evaluation to repeat orders.
- 03
Deployment readiness
A clear view of integration, operating conditions, production and what slows adoption.
- 04
Capital-to-milestone fit
A team and financing plan that reach a meaningful proof point, even if progress is slower than planned.
Diligence
Every claim, verified.
A qualifying score earns the review. It does not replace it.

Investment diligence
Evidence before commitment.
The assessment is the starting point. Diligence tests the evidence behind it, and what must be true for this round to reach its milestone.
- 01
Verified business information
Reconcile the financial, commercial and company information behind the score.
- 02
Technical evidence
Check performance claims, limits and dependencies, and what remains untested.
- 03
Customer and market evidence
Separate contracted revenue from pilots, pipeline and expected demand.
- 04
Ownership and governance
Review company records, the capital structure and ownership of material IP.
- 05
A financeable milestone
Check use of proceeds, runway and the plan if progress is slower than expected.
- 06
Investment documentation
Agree terms and satisfy the closing requirements.
How we judge
One case, examined whole.
Strategic relevance, technical evidence and commercial viability have to make the same case. We judge them together, not one at a time.
Strategic relevance
A clear link to security, resilience or essential capability: whose problem it solves, and why the improvement matters.
Technical evidence
Performance shown in the conditions that matter, with limits and dependencies stated.
A credible buyer
A named customer, a budget owner and a path to adoption. Pilots and letters of interest are weighed by what they commit.
Durable advantage
Technology, know-how or integration that keeps customers choosing it as the market matures.
Capital discipline
A financing plan that covers development and deployment, and survives slower adoption.
Accountable judgment
Flash Intelligence structures the evidence. Our investment team weighs it and makes the decision.
| Investment question | Evidence examined | Risk addressed |
|---|---|---|
| Does the technology work? | Testing in relevant conditions, and its limits | Technical risk |
| Will it be adopted? | Buyer, budget and deployment requirements | Commercial risk |
| Can the company deliver? | Team, production and integration capacity | Execution risk |
| What does this round prove? | Milestone, runway and downside plan | Financing risk |
Common questions.
Does a score of 75 or above guarantee investment?
No. It makes the company eligible and enables the investment button. Completion depends on verification, diligence, investment approval and agreed terms.
What are your investment terms?
Initial investments are $250K–$500K. We invest early, and our fund continues through Series B. We typically invest through a SAFE with a valuation cap. Specific terms are agreed during review and documented before completion.
What if the score is below 75?
Use the analysis to find where the case is weakest. Strengthen the evidence, then reassess. The investment button is enabled at 75 or above.
What sectors do you invest in?
Strategic technology with commercial and national-security applications, across three frontiers: sensing and autonomy, resilient infrastructure, and intelligence and security. Hardware and software are both in scope when the evidence, the adoption path and the capital required support an investable business.
Where do you invest?
The United States, India and Japan. Tell us where the company operates and where its customers are.
Do you lead or follow?
Both. We can lead or co-lead pre-seed rounds under $1M. In larger rounds, we invest alongside other investors.
What happens after investment?
We agree the milestone being financed, how we work together, who decides what and the support we provide. Continued access to Flash Intelligence is agreed explicitly.
Can a company that has already raised apply?
Yes. We invest from the earliest rounds through Series B, where an initial investment of $250K–$500K fits the round.
